Located at 45th and Chicago in the Field/Regina/Northrup neighborhood of Minneapolis. It is a stable, thriving community situated just north of Minnehaha Creek and about one-half of a mile from Lake Nokomis. Some have described this neighborhood as the second Linden Hills. Getting Around
Travel by bus, bike, or light rail. Walk or drive. Four different bus routes converge just one block away. Hop on the #46 for a fast connection to the light rail (Hiawatha Line). If you’re into driving, there’s also easy access to Interstate 35W (46th Street); and convenient underground parking.
When you’re finished with work for the day, take the dog for a walk along Chicago Avenue to Minnehaha Parkway and follow the creek-side biking and walking trails of The Grand Rounds National Scenic Byway to Lake Nokomis and the Mississippi River. Steele Flats is one of the few condos in Minneapolis where pets are welcome.
